from balance-billing.
What is an EPO plan?
EPO Plan = Only PPO Provider Network
Delta Dental EPO is a fee-for-service program for group customers. Members seeking dental preventive care and other treatment on this program will utilize the Delta Dental PPO network for all services rendered. If you receive treatment from a non-PPO provider, you will be responsible for all fees charged.
*The only exception to this is emergency palliative treatment to temporarily relieve pain.
